Healthcare Workers

Employers can recruit foreign allied healthcare professionals if the worker holds a USCIS-approved healthcare certification (“VisaScreen”), which confirms required education, licensure, and English proficiency. Approved roles include physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, medical technologists, clinical laboratory professionals, and physician assistants, with credentials issued by organizations such as CGFNS, NBCOT, and FCCPT. With certification, employers may pursue work visas or employment-based green cards. Some roles, including Physical Therapists and Nurses, qualify under Schedule A, allowing them to bypass the PERM labor certification process.
