Mia Niwa

Senior Paralegal

Mia Niwa has more than 20 years of experience as an immigration paralegal. Based in Tokyo, she assists attorneys to streamline the preparation of immigrant (EB1, EB2, EB3, IR, F2A) and non-immigrant (E, H-1B, H-3, J-1, L-1, O-1/O-2, P-3) visa cases for corporate clients and individuals. She also has experience handling EB5, K-1, I, and R-1 visa categories. Mia is also responsible for client management and acting as a point of contact for Japanese clients. Utilizing her years of extensive experience in the field, she often helps to train new staff, providing guidance for practical skills needed to execute immigration cases accurately and effectively.

Prior to joining KST Law Group, Mia had served as an immigration paralegal for various law firms including SW Law Group PC and Law Offices of C. Steven Horn.

As a U.S. immigrant herself (from F-1 to H-1B, then LPR), Mia can personally relate to and understand the physical, emotional, and economic burdens that many of her clients face and must overcome. Mia feels particularly rewarded when she is able to utilize her experience and knowledge to assist her clients reach their goals and dreams.
